Your voice matters at Applewood Pointe of Shoreview. Our beautiful co-op community is 100-percent resident member-owned. Come and discover a vibrant community of active seniors 62+ who chose the important benefits of homeownership, less maintenance, and active engagement. As a member, you also help keep costs down with your preferred volunteer involvement.

Member community input is solicited and precedes any changes to amenities, policies and more which are made by a board of resident-elected community members. You will find a wide array of Committees for the effective operation and offerings of the Cooperative and you are encouraged to contribute using your life experiences. Everyone has a gift, skill or talent they can offer to enhance community life.

​ Looking to get back into an old hobby or explore something totally new? There are a variety of onsite amenities for you to discover. Want to make friends with people who share your interests? There are plenty of volunteer activities and social events to bring the community together.

Perfectly situated in the suburban North Metro area less than 17 miles from downtown Minneapolis and 12 miles from central St. Paul, Shoreview gives you convenient access to shopping, dining and entertainment. Grab a latte at Caribou Coffee as you head out for the day. Meet up with friends for dinner at Panino’s after some shopping at Rosedale Center. You’re also close to numerous lakes, trails, golf courses and all the recreational activities you love.
On a hot summer day when I hear the lawn mower coming close, and I am in my comfortable deck chair, I’m more than glad the mowing is not on my list of jobs to do!

Social Opportunities
Each Applewood Pointe cooperative features a social committee made up of resident members who plan fun and engaging activities for their community. Events could include a Wednesday night poker game in the club room, a weekly group fitness class or monthly book club. Some communities plan group outings, taking in a play at the Guthrie or a Twins game. The possibilities are endless, inspired by the diverse interests of resident members.
